Why is it important to make the right college choice

90%

As many as 9 out of 10 people between the ages of 21 and 65 said they regretted rushing with their career choice. Most of them locate the mistake in the hasty choice of education, due to the fact that they were not yet sure what they wanted to choose, and they felt that they had to make a decision because they no longer had time.

70%

The rest were mostly under pressure from their parents to inherit a career that they themselves did not find interesting enough for them, nor were the prospects the same as in their parents' time.

30%

As many as 30% of students, even after completing the first or second year of study, stated that they would choose another faculty if they chose again. As many as 20% of them said they regretted making that choice. The biggest reason for the dissatisfaction was the insufficient research before making the choice.

How does this career tool work?

The first part of this test consists of 32 questions from the Open Jungian Type Scales personality test, which reveals which of the 16 personality types you belong to. Each of these personality types has its own characteristics and strengths that are best associated with certain professions and work environments. Selecting what you are partially or completely inclined to on a 5-point scale between the two extremes of a trait results in 4 Latin letters for the personality type. The first 3 letters are based on Carl G.'s theory of psychological types. Jung (Jung, 1971) and can be: E (extroverted) or I (introverted); feeling (S) vs. intuition (I) and thinking (T) vs. feeling (F). The fourth letter of judgment (J) versus perception (P) is based on Jung theory researcher and practitioner Isabel Briggs Myers. In 1980 she explored the relationship of perception as the 4th important aspect in determining the type of person.

What did those who solved the quiz say?

Although I haven’t decided what I will study yet, this was a great way to learn what suits my character the most and what are my strengths to work on. Well done to the designer, I did not know that such a page could exist in Cyrillic

Martina
High School Student

I was very surprised how accurately the result described me. It would have been much better if this quiz existed 5 years ago when I was seriously thinking about what to do after high school. Although even now it guided me great in terms of choosing the environment in which I should work.

Ana Stojanovska
Accountant

Honestly, I was relieved to see that the digital skills that came out of the result matched the area I was planning to move into.
